Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Twists

I will be the first to admit, that with the holidays, like Thanksgiving, and Christmas, I do not have much time to make breakfast, because so much is already happening that needs my attention. For Thanksgiving, that means starting the meal early. No time to cook a big meal for breakfast. Christmas morning, is for opening presents, and I am the cameraman. No time for big breakfast there either, because after presents, I get started on our Holiday ham, Macaroni and Cheese, and our family traditional Sadma.

That is where these delicious Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Twists come in. I just pop them in the oven, and breakfast is ready! With a steaming cup o’ Joe, these are fabulous and super easy!

I use refrigerated biscuits for this recipe. The butter biscuits are the best to use actually. You just pop them open, and cut a little hole or slit in the center. This is so that they cool thoroughly. Then you twist them. You can twist them however you like. Then they go for a dip in some melted butter, and then dust them with a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.

Place them on a baking sheet, that has been covered with parchment paper, and bake as directed. for me, that was 400 degrees for 10 minutes. They went fast! I literally only had two to take the pics with! This is getting tough guys! My family will not wait until I have the perfect shot. They just come in like a heard, and you have to step away! It’s funny, how fast they went!

This happens a lot with my food lately. Like my recent Pumpkin Parmesan soup. My daughter just could not wait for the soup to cool enough to take photos with, and she did not want another bowl, she wanted the one I had for pics. So I had to hurry and take shots of it, then pass it to her:D
