Baked Pear Crisp

There is truly nothing better than a bowl of warm Baked Pear Crisp with a scoop of Ice Cream slowly melting on top. My daughter said that this is the best thing she has ever eaten! Don’t you love that feeling, knowing that your kids love what you make? Especially when my daughter is one of the pickiest eaters I have ever known.

We all get a bowl, and sit on a comfy couch, to watch the Kids Baking Championships on Foodnetwork. One of my daughters other favorite program is Shark Tank! She loves to see young entrepreneurs get the deal! i think it giver her ideas for her future, and that you need to work hard, and stay positive to get where you want to be. So when I make my kids favorite desserts, and we have an evening like this, it all seems worth it!

Baked Pear Crisp

I could talk forever about what my kids eat, and won’t eat, and it will make your head spin! The good thing, is that they are teens, and they are now willing to try new foods! So to all you young moms out there – just wait until they are teenagers, and then you can start to change things up! (kidding! – Not really though.)

This Baked Pear Crisp really is easy though, and it is truly the perfect dessert. Served with most flavors of ice cream, this dessert can feed a lot of people, even though it is baked in an 8×8 baking dish. The crumble on top, give it that crunch, that goes together so well with a scoop of Ice Cream.

ARTS & CRAFTS

I baked this until it was golden brown, and bubbly, and the aroma filled the house with scents of vanilla, and cinnamon, and I could not wait to take a bite! And, I want to point out, that all I needed for this recipe, was pears, because I already has everything else on hand. So that is why it is so important, in my opinion to always have kitchen staples like Flour, Butter, Vanilla, Honey, and Brown Sugar. It really helps to have these ingredients on hand, because you can then create so many different desserts, and only need an ingredient or two.

So here is the Baked Pear Crisp recipe for you to enjoy!
