Flower House Stand-Up Garden Only $34.85!!

I am trying to garden in my backyard. I am a renter, so I can’t go digging up the ground to plant some veggies, and elevated gardens seem like the way to go. Due to my health conditions, bending down to garden would be a struggle for me, and my love for gardening has grown very quickly. I will admit that my thumb still has a ways to go before it is the nice shade of green that I would like it to be. Right now I would say that it has a slight tint of green.

While searching online for an elevated garden, I found something called the Flower House Stand-Up Garden. It is 2 feet by 4 feet. And instead of one main gardening bed, this has 6 separate mini beds for gardening. Each compartment is made of a thick felt material that I find drains very well, as that is what most plants desire. It is said that they do not like wet feet!

One bag of 2 cubic feet of soil will fill about 2 compartments. So to fill the entire planter, you would need 3 bags total. I would not recommend this for large vegetable plants like Tomatoes, but it is perfect for Herbs and small compact fruit and vegetables. Strawberries would be wonderful in them. Currently I have Radish, Garlic, Lemon Basil, Sweet marjoram, Celery, Spinach, and Onion growing in them. I am also growing white sage so I can use them for sage burning sticks.

I found these planters online at staggering prices. Right now on Wayfair, this is going for $239 dollars. At Walmart it is going for $135 dollars. At one point on Amazon it was going for over$400! But right now through Sierra Trading Post, it is on clearance for only $34.85 Yes did you hear me $34.85!

That’s all! OMG I bought 2 of them! They can be a little challenging to put together, but I managed to do it in under 45 minutes. The instructions are pretty simple, even though it did not have much of an explanation for each step. I figured it out fairly well.

You may find that the wavy bars that hold each fabric growing bag, may not sit in the planter or fit into each slot perfectly-or at all even. But once you fill them with soil, they will fit into each slot nicely.

Elevated garden

When filled with soil, this elevated garden becomes very heavy. I have had it through a couple storms, and it held up well. When you are ready to move it around, hold it from the 2 feet panels. Do not hold it from the 4 feet panel, as it will come undone. Once you move it, be sure to find a place that you will keep it there, as once you fill it, it will be very, very heavy.

Garden bed cover

I love this because it is tall. It is also very sturdy, and it also comes with two different covers. One for shade and protection from pests, and of plastic to create a kind of greenhouse. Each cover comes with side vents for airflow.

Each compartment measures about 8 inch by 23 inch. I bought them at a higher price last year. I am even thinking of buying a few more, but I don’t know what I would do with it.

For this price, it is worth a try. Especially for people who like to garden and find that bending would be difficult. It is so wonderful for a deck or patio.

I think that once they are gone, there gone. as I think that they are discontinued, so this may be your last chance to get this at this price. And I know for sure that Sierra Trading Post is the only place to get the Flower House Stand-Up Garden this cheap!

Hurry up and get one before these prices change, or they run out of inventory!

Happy Gardening:)
