A few days ago, I made a Bacon Bruschetta, that can be used in many different ways. Bacon is a staple in our house, and bacon can literally go wit anything. These burgers make a great meal on movie night, or any other night, when you want a burger, that is not from a fast food restaurant. While we do occasionally eat fast food, eating at home is my favorite way to eat, because I know what ingredients goes in, and I feel better about what I feed my family, and homemade burgers, are truly the best!
And this recipe is to show that bruschetta, goes great with burgers. This was a hit with the family, because it gave the burgers, an Italian twist.
Next time, I will definitely make them a bit larger, because, as i’m sure you know, that burgers tend to shrink a little when they are done. Everybody loves a burger, and this burger will definitely steal the show. I fryer these burgers in a pan, but the grill would be great too!
I toasted the buns in a bit of butter, and I used a sweet Hawaiian style bun for extra flavor. Potato buns are a great option as well. So light and fluffy!
My family loves Italian food. I cook Italian food so much, that I’m surprised I’m not Italian. Our favorite restaurants are mainly Italian, or Italian based, and I am so in love with Bruschetta, that it is not funny. I have now realized that you can put it on almost anything, and it will be fantastic!I love all of the flavors of Italy, and to be able to incorporate Italian flavors with American favorites like cheeseburgers, is even more special. Try this Bacon Bruschetta Burger. Your family will want this over any fast food burger!
