It’s been warming up here in SoCal, and to me it feels like spring. So I’ve been in the mood to get things cleaned up. I’ve been putting my kitchen redo on hold for a long time, because I wasn’t sure how I wanted it to look. And once I found my inspiration, there was no stopping me.
I’m a woman on a mission, and I’m determined to get this done. Pinterest has been my best friend through all of this, and the ideas there are endless.

So these days I’ve been trying to get my kitchen updated a bit, and to go with a Parisian/bakery/bistro look. I’m a renter, so I can only do so much. I had my cabinets painted a while back (with the landlords permission of course) and reorganizing the pantry.

I must say that this is no small task, and once you get started, there is no turning back!
It really wears you out. But in a good way. Anyway, as I was cleaning out the cabinets, I found two curved roasting racks. And I mainly only use one of them. And I began to use my noggin, and thought ‘Hey I need a baking sheet divider, maybe this can work!’
And sure enough, as soon as I flipped it over, I placed a few baking sheets, and cupcake pans in it, and it worked great!
I have it placed in my pantry shelf and it is so much better than having them stacked.
And so much more accessible too!
So you can definitely find new uses for everyday items, you just have to think outside the box. This would also work for dishes, cake pans, cutting boards, and I think it can go in a cabinet as well!
So if you have one extra lying around the kitchen, put it to good use and find a new life for it:)
Have you repurposed anything lately?
