I’ve been really busy the past few weeks making birthday cakes and wedding cakes. I love it when there is a birthday around the holidays! Especially when it is my daughter.

Every girl at one time or another, wants to be a disney princess. I know that I still want to be one! My passion has always been to make beautiful cakes, and I love each and every cake that I make. I love being a part of someone’s big day. My custom cake business ‘I Love The Cake’ has been so much fun, but today I want to share with you a Frozen inspired birthday cake, that I made for my daughters 15th birthday.

The story of Queen Elsa and her sister Anna, are not only very popular but also a lot of fun to make, and I just wanted to share a bit of what goes into making a Frozen cake.
This order was for a very special 15 year old, my girl brittany, who just loves the movie Frozen. There were a lot of elements to this cake and a lot of preparing ahead of time.
For this element, I used a technique that included templates made from
Coloring pages. {Maybe one day, I will do a tutorial.}
An Olaf in the making!
She wanted more of a grown-up look to the cake, with the top tier shimmering in edible glitter and elegant snowflakes. She actually colored the top tier herself.
And she also wanted a playful tier with a scene from the movie, where Sven gets pummeled with snow.
I drew inspiration from other wonderful cakes that I have seen all over the web, and I am so happy with how it turned out.
And it truly had some weight to it! I mean this cake was easily over 15 pounds!
It had a lot of edible characters including an edible Olaf cake topper!
The cake pops were equally as beautiful with Elsa and Anna in edible ball gowns. The birthday girl wanted blinged out cake pop sticks which you can find on Etsy.
The party table came out so pretty! My daughter was ecstatic!
{The venue was very dark. sorry about the low light.}
