I have been compensated for this post, but all of my opinions are my own.

As you all know, I love to bake and decorate cakes. My business FabulousFrostings has been on the rise, and I love learning new techniques and recipes for my cakes.
There has been an explosion for the interest in cake decorating, I myself started off just doing cakes for family and friends and from there it grew into a business. I credit my cake making skills to the wonderful experts at websites like CAKEMADE in which it has allowed me to learn new techniques and skills that I never thought I could do.
Cake made is a wonderful, fun, and educational website where they will teach you how to decorating cakes and make Fondant figurines, edible flowers and different techniques that will bring your baking and your decorating skills to a whole new level.
There instructors are among the most talented and well known cake artists in the world. The instructors that provide lessons on CakeMade, not only have their own well established businesses, but have also appeared on many televised cake decorating competition shows, like those on the Food Network.
When I take part in a lesson from the CakeMade website, I feel like I am getting a private 1 on 1 lesson from the best in the world, and I really like that I can go back and learn again and again anytime I like. The lesson is broken up by segments and I like this because I can go back and view any segment I need to, if I forgot what they said earlier.
I was lucky enough to receive a complementary class from CakeMade and I am very  excited to say that I absolutely loved this class.
I got the  GRAVITY-DEFYING GARDEN CAKE and I must say this class is amazing!
It is taught by the very talented Susan Carberry. Her incredible edible works of art have been featured on Food Network’s “Top Five” and TLC’s “Ultimate Cake Off”
Her teaching style is very calming and informative. She doesn’t miss a thing. She takes you through every step, as if you were right in front of her. And her decorating skills are truly amazing.
I loved every minute of this class and I will be putting these techniques that I have learned, to good use. I learned how to make a watering can out of rice treats, and the cutest fondant caterpillars and snails as well.
This class was super informative and super fun. If you are looking to expand your cake business or just expand your skills, CakeMade is the place to be. I’m going to be getting more classes to try out. The next class I buy will probably be the Contemporary Wedding Cake with Classic Piping
with Bronwen Weber as the instructor.
I have always wanted to learn how to pipe onto a cake, as I find that to be my biggest hurdle yet. My piping skills are not so hot, but this is where these classes come in and are a very valuable. It use to be that you had to get cake decorating classes in a very expensive school or classes that you had to travel with cakes and supplies and it was very inconvenient at times, but with CakeMade, they make it so easy to not only learn, but access this information on your time, in your home, over and over again. How cool is that!
