With Thanksgiving coming up soon, I have been on the hunt for some awesome recipes to try along with my family favorites. I love to try new recipes for the holidays and I have found twenty fabulous recipes guaranteed to gather everyone around the holiday table.
This thanksgiving is going to be the busiest yet for me. First I will be making thanksgiving at my house for the whole family. Then my kids are begging me to stay in line with them all night at a store for Black Friday :/ and finally I am making a Beatles cake for a birthday on Saturday. So I have to say that I will not be getting much sleep at that hectic time.
But even though it will be hectic, frantic and working on two hours sleep, I will be loving every second of it because the one thing that I know for sure is that this is the time to be truly thankful for the family around us, the food on our table and the roof over our head.
When I lost my baby brother in 2011, it made me see that life’s little hectic adventures are something to cherish. Something to look forward to and something to be thankful for.
Making the best of everything, showing gratitude and staying positive are things that keep me going and give me strength.
And I am especially grateful for the opportunity to be able to go on the World Wide Web and find fabulous recipes right at me fingertips that make my thanksgiving that much easier. I would not be able to do that twenty years ago, so I am thankful for that small blessing.
